Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a sales / specification person to call on electrical engineers, architects and facility managers.  Sales territory would include Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia.  Job requires that you learn and present lighting and control products from our various manufacturers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Making  Sales / Specification calls on existing and prospective customers
• Prepare detailed customer presentations
• Prepare & maintain call reports and expense account
• Organize joint calls with factory representative
• Work with inside sales team as needed to prepare quotes and specifications
• Attend tradeshows as needed
• Have existing knowledge of lighting / electrical industry
• Strong sales presentation
• Committed & success oriented
• Self-motivated, confident
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Profession image
