The Warner Theater
Crenshaw Lighting
Lighting Design: Moran-Coventry Lighting Associates
When this landmark theater was restored in 1992, the owner chose antique chandeliers of European origin for the foyer area. These fixtures required restoration and resizing in order to fit the space.
During restoration, the fixtures were lengthened by the addition of the new bottom baskets and top crowns to match the existing fixture body. Additional lamp clusters in the top and bottom of the fixtures helped to illuminate the new Strass crystal prisms and beading. |
Bureau of Engraving
Washington, DC Crenshaw Lighting Architect: Baker Associates
Designed to highlight a reception area, this ten-foot long fixture is distinguished by its clear, crisp lines. This fixture is fabricated from just two materials, stainless steel and glass, and incorporates a variety of custom designed stainless steel fasteners. The subtle light patterns are achieved by backlighting panels of laminated glass. Task lighting for the desk is provided by low voltage downlights placed in the cylindrical 'backbone' of the fixture. |
